The weekend is coming! Are you ready? I know I am not ready… at all… To get me ready though how about some fun. How about Five Question Friday!

1. What is your current favorite TV show?
I would have to say that I am currently hooked on Wipeout. I usually love AFC but a lot of them are reruns now. With Summer here there’s a whole slew of brand new Wipeouts yet to come! So lot’s of laughs, right?

I would never do Wipeout. I’d be the one folded up like a pretzel somewhere in some serious pain. UGH! Kudos to those contestants… but mostly… thanks for the laugh! Hehehe…

2. What's the worst haircut you ever got?
It wasn’t the haircut itself… it was the perm that went with it. Sadly, my hair is so fine and straight that it does NOT keep a perm. Well, okay, it kept a nice wavy perm overnight once. Hehe… The only thing that can perm on me is my bangs and I took ‘em for all they were worth in the ‘80’s with what I lovingly refer to as the “poodle look”. Ugh… Those photos are burnt, cut up or hidden in a safe deposit box with no key to be found.

3. What was something that you did as a child that you thought you were so cool for doing?
Hmmm… Not much… I was not a cool kid. At. All. I was always the opposite of cool. Day late and a dollar short would be more like it. I think cool was allergic to me. Hehehe… I suppose I tried. I’m sure I did but it never worked out and I don’t remember specifics anymore.

It’s so nice to be grown up! I can make my own cool. Adults are much more forgiving and have a more, “been there done that” attitude to geekiness. Granted, I still don’t fit in most of the time. It’s easier.

4. Do you have any GREAT frugal family fun tips?
Yes! Use coupons! I shop with coupons and teach coupon classes too. (I even have a huge post on how YOU can teach coupon classes too!) All my kids see me with the coupons and understand that coupons get us what we need for a lot less. The kids help me with coupons and don’t ask, “Can I have this?” No, they ask, “Do you have a coupon for this?” Hehehhe….

5. Would you drive across country if you had the money to fly?
Yes! And an even bigger YES!! Last Summer we took a trip to Yellowstone as a family using a huge RV and it was such a BLAST! Even with a baby in tow. Would repeat it in a heartbeat… well… except for the part that my Dad got bit by something or had a reaction to something and ended up in emergency surgery in Rapid City, SD. Got to know Mt Rushmore really well though. Sigh! I would take another trip with everyone again. Such fun!
