A bit of rambling....

It's bad enough the holidays around here but right now, I need 6 of me to keep up. Anyone else feeling this? I am trying to find new ways to SLOOOOOOW down. Nothing is really working yet. I am currently setting up days for work and days that I don't. I have to! My part-time job is wonderfully flexible but it's become not part-time. I would not be able to finish everything for it even if I was working full-time. Argh!!! Unfinished projects weigh on me.

Don't get me wrong though, I am very thankful for my job right now. Completely fell into this job too. It's not your "normal" job.

Back to the holidays though. I have a confession we don't have our tree up yet! (gasp!) Kids are getting anxious. *I* am getting anxious about it. What if it doesn't make it up this year?! No... I won't go there. What a mess we have brewing over here.

I miss my days of reading books and having no excuse for why the dining room is not fully painted but is still taped and ready for it. Hehehe...

Off to attack this day as best I can. Feeling overwhelmed but there are things that will just have to wait. What's that saying? Rome wasn't built in a day? Yah... That's here too.
