Home Going

Tuesday, August 09, 2011

I am not home yet but I only have four more days away from home. This isn’t easy for me. There are three kids at home that I miss something awful! I have made amends at summer camp though. My last post was a desperate post. I felt like I was drowning. In just one week I felt like I’d lost myself. So weird too…

I’ve prayed, relaxed, had some fun with the kiddo here and taken some extra time for me. (Not easy to do on a camp with people everywhere and a job to be done but it happened!) I’m excited to be going home. There are no words to describe how excited I am to get home! I want to keep moving through this week, get it done and get outta dodge. Hehehe…

I so need to take a picture of what I did to have some fun. Maybe I’ll get that for tomorrow. HAHHAHA! It’s sooooo not like me. I’m terrified of heights and I went on a bungee trampoline thingie. It was a BLAST! I still refuse to zipline. Just NOT gonna happen here or ever. I am interested in the go-carts but zipline is just out. Why did it have to take me a full week to look around and see what fun I could do? I would have been better for it last week instead of letting myself drown. Pathetic!

Keep having fun everyone! Play with those kids! This summer camp has been a roller coaster ride for me and my oldest but we have learned from it. I hope we are coming out stronger because of it all. I know I am coming out at least exhausted and sore. SIGH!

Wow, 2 weeks is a long time to be away. I hope you can enjoy the next few days and they fly by. Good for you trying something new and scary.
