My oldest kiddos are old enough to take baths or showers on their own. (Love it!) Granted I can find a bathroom turned into a swamp after they are done, but there's still benefits of them being this independent. I have noticed an odd habit from one of the kiddos though. I didn't think much of it at first but I generally don't like the vents in the bathroom running when they are in there so that I can hear what is going on in the bathroom easier. Well, not only is the bathroom a swamp but the bathroom vent is being left on afterward, so I asked:
"Hey, you left the vent on again. Why do you keep doing that?"
"Oh I just forgot."
"Okay, but why are you turning it on in the first place?"
"To dry my hair faster!"
Yah... Duh Mom! Didn't you know that a bathroom vent dries hair? (Hiding snickers)
